hi there, i am going to the med cruise leaving from barcelona, i am a first time cruiser and took fright at the price of the cruise tours to naples.rome and florence. i had thought of taking a train from the ports, but how do we go about seeing pisa and florence
with so little time. can anyone sugest anything. i have heard there will be shore taxis but it is 9o minutes to rome and naples from the port.
we dont want to miss anything and shop as well!!!!

Well Pisa and Florence are only about 30-40 minutes a train ride away from eachother. I would take the train from Rome to Florence (I think it's about 2 hours?). . Honestly, Pisa doesn't offer anything except the Leaning Tower, so I would do that last after you've seen everything in Florence (there is a lot.) Florence is just a lot more charming than Pisa.
