We are going to SMB in January, I havent traveled much and have never seen the ocean. Please tell me SMB will be good for novice travelers!!

SMB was our first place w traveled to outside of the US. We fell in love with this older resort and their employees. Evert resort has it's pros and cons. SMB has done a lot of rennovations and they do have a beautiful white sandy beach. You are only 10 min. from the airport and can get started on your vaca but some guests don't like the sound of the airplanes departing through the day. What are you looking for in a resort and what things do you like to do?
