I want to take my two sister on a sample tour of Europe doing the Hearts of Europe tour in 2007. I have been several times with my husband. I am very concerned about 3 people to a room in the European hotels. Anyone have experience with this?

My son, husband and self shared a room when we took a Globus trip two years ago. In the rooms we had, there were always three single beds. Sometimes two were pushed together. The London room was pretty small, but it was adequate.

Someone else on our tour was traveling with her two grandsons. Her travel agent told her that she would have to book two rooms as there were no triples. He/she was obviously wrong as we had triples at each hotel. She commented that her single room was often very small.

Other than the time crunch of sharing a bathroom, I don't envision any problems for you.

My husband, daughter (18) and I went on the Imperial Splendors tour in November. One room had two queen size beds, one had twins, and the other three had one queen and a twin or cot. Only one room was what I considered to be very small, but it was still manageable. Two of our rooms were actually quite large and her bed was in the sitting room area. We even saved over $200 by having a triple. Since you're not in the room that much, I'd much rather use that extra money for shopping or one of their optional tours! Carrie, I can't believe there is someone else doing the same thing that I am. I posted earlier about 3 to a room as I am also taking my two sisters to do the Heart of Europe tour next September. When are you going?
