Hi Pablo,
Thank you for responding. I don't read french but a friend helped me out. Unfortunately I already booked the trip, but do you have other recommendations? I might be able to get out of it. Thanks again.

Has anyone taken this tour? My sister and I will be taking it during April and we are wondering what the weather will be like and if tours get filled to capacity during this time. Thanks for all of your help.

Hi Patty
have just finished this tour on 26/10. It is a very fast paced tour, with a lot of freeway driving. There is not very much free time (unless you ditch the tour guide and make your own way back to the hotel!). .

Autumn and spring tend to fairly damp - although we had very good weather on ours, mostly dry and even some warm days in italy. Our tour only had 32 people on it, so there was plenty of room. Out of peak tours are not as full as the peak, but there is also the risk of the tour being cancelled if there is not enough people.

Also check your start day - some optional tours are not available if the tour leaves on a particular day. Eg the Versaille optional excursion is not available if the tour leave london on a sunday (you arrive in paris on monday and versaille is closed). .

I had a good time, but probably would not have chosen this tour with hindsight - I would choose the 15 day focus on Italy & Paris, as it has less planned time.

Bon Voyage!

27 day tour

Postby jan44 » Sat Nov 13, 2004 3:07 am

Hi guys we have just arrived back in Australia after a fantastic time on the European Masterpiece left London on October 4th and returned October 30th. Our Tour guide Patricia and bus driver Mauro were wonderful. Out hotels on times were out of the cities that is probably one of the disappointments of the trip. The people we met on the bus and the countries we visited were amazing. To all the Aussies and Kiwis on our bus thankyou for making our trip a memorable experience.
Optional tours do add up but definately worth taking. We have come home with hundreds of wonderful photo's , video and assorted souvenirs.
I do not think I could handle a 27 day tour again but make sure you do 1.
Thankyou to Cosmos for a great tour.
