We are going to the Canadian Rockies in early August and are not sure what type of clothing to bring.. ..Also we've never been on an organized tour before.

All suggestions are welcome!!!

We haven't been to the Canadian Rockies, but we were to Alaska in
August and I imagine they are similar. We needed mostly slacks and
long sleeved tops. I would bring one pair of shorts and a cool top, but
otherwise it is safe to plan on layers for the cool evenings. A plastic
raincoat is always a good thing to bring also, and of course, good sturdy,
comfortable walking shoes.
