We're staying at Sandals Mo Bay in early May. Could anyone tell us what the proper dress attire is for the formal restaurants. Is nice shorts, tennis shoes, polo shirt with colar acceptable??

You will need long pants for the Oleander restaurant. Shorts for men are fine in others. Usually, men with shorts have Docker type shorts a collared shirt and no opened toed sandals.

And for the ladies, sundresses and a nice pair of sandals or lightweight pantsuits. When in May are you going? We'll be there from 4/29-5/7.
