I'm thinking of going on the Focus on Scotland trip with Cosmos travel this summer 2006. I Would like to hear from anyone going or anyone who has done this trip. I would like to know how their itinerary was. Any general advice is also appreciated.

Hi Rose, hope your Cosmos tour - Focus on Scotland went well. I am thinking of taking that tour in Sept 2006. Am not sure though but it certainly goes everywhere I want to go, but reading some of the negative feedback on cosmos and touring in general is a real turn off. I am aware through my travel agent that they stay outside of town sometimes and that "see" can mean just that see as you are going past in the bus. As this is my first trip overseas, I thought it would be easy to join a tour. the rest of my time will be spent with my daughter and we will be doing lots of tripping on our own without the use of a tour. So if anyone has feedback on Focus on Scotland Cosmos, please let me know! Thanks
