Just wondering if anyone has gone through a tour of China with Globus. If anyone has, how was it? I was thinking of going but not sure how it'll be.

We went to China with Globus in 2002 - the tour was called "Heart of China with Yangtze River Cruise" - and had a great time. We found it to be well organized and hit the key sites. Both our Globus guide, Fern Platt, and the local guides were very knowlegeable. The hotels were all very good though i found the boat for the Yangtze "cruise" not as good. That being said, it appears as though we got one of the top boats.

A caution if you are going in the fall: we were in Beijing in October & it was quite cold, I ended up buying mitts.
