Questions about alcohol.

I myself am 20 and my wife is 22. we are going to be leaving out of jackxonville florida and going on a 5night bahama cruise. (this one to be exact http://cruises.affordabletours.com/search/it/?id=3409 ) now i am aware that the drinking age in the bahamas is 18 so im good there. but i was wondering what they do on the boat? are they ever out of international waters so i can drink or do they even check id's on the boat. (and i don't look like a kid or anything, alot of times i dont get carded at clubs/bars)

thnx for any help

Im also having this same problem and tryin to seek an answer. I will be 21 at the time of my cruise for spring break in march and my girlfriend will be 20 so if hopefully there is something we can sign as guardians or something to let them drink with us

i know is some states if you are under 21 and you spouse is 21 (i assume married) you can legal drink if you spouse gives consent.

Lemme rephrase what i said. once they are into international waters (3miles offshore correct) do they allow people over the age of 18 to consume alcohol? i know some cruiselines do but then again other's follow the laws of the state which u departed from. i mean i woulndt understand why they woudl allow gambling and not drinking.

from what i have found out the drinking age on carnival cruises is 21. or well atleast ones departing from usa. i emailed them asking if there is any expceptions to that. i mean i already am getting oboard underage since i am married. i don't wanna be left out on the boat. i know in the bahamas i can drink but that's only an 11hour period over 5 days. if it comes dopwn too it i'll just bring my own liquor onboard.
