I'll be going on the Globus Central Europe tour at the end of June 2006. I'd like to purchase my own airfare, but am hesitant to do so if this tour ends up getting cancelled.

How common is it for these tours to be cancelled, particularly the Central Europe tour at the end of June?

I purchased my flight separately for the Imperial Splendor tour. To cover myself in case it was cancelled I purchased travel insurance to cover both the tour and the air cost. It cost $99 and was worth it for piece of mind. (this insurance also covers things like trip interruption, baggage lost, among other things). .
