Just got back from the Glory, Sept. 24-Oct. 1. Super nice ship. First time, so nothing to compare, but had a very nice time. I thought the food was generally bland, even though there was plenty of it. Entertainment was good. Don't gamble, so the casino was of no interest. One night in the disco, the DJ played almost an hour of techno for the crew that came in. Nobody else in the club was into it, but the crew had a good time. Didn't quite get that. The music was either techno, hip hop or disco..you better like one of those, cause that's all you got. Great gym. The Cruise Director, (MarK) was just great. Funny, personable, hard working. Can't say enough about him. Met one of the classical musicians. Bought her a nice parting gift, to show my appreciateion for her talent as a Violist. Left it at the Pursor's desk with my contact info. To date haven't even received a thank you.. ..not sure what that's all about. Maybe the crew doesn't have e-mail options, I don't know. I know the computer room for the guests was a little pricey. I thought the crew and staff were very friendly and hard working. The Platinum dining room was right over my cabin on deck 2. (2414) Sounded like they were bowling up there every night till about 4AM. It was awful. Ear plugs required.
