I'm planning a contiki trip during Xmas time (around Dec 25, 2005). . I wonder are there anyone out there who had taken a trip to Europe and would like to share their experiences.. .. .. . such as what were the sceneries, weather, etc. like? would it still be as funful trip as in summer? So and so.. .. .. . Any recommendation and comments are greatly appreciated.. .. .

Hi, i havent been on a contiki tour of europe but being from Europe myself, I would guess that a summer/spring/autumn tour would be more fun than a winter one..simply because of the colder weather. also, you would need to bring some more clothes than in summertime.. . which would make your backpack/suitcase heavier & less flexible.. . of course it also depends on where in Europe you plan to go. Southern France, Greece etc would be quite pleasant while Germany, Austria, Scandinavia etc would be colder.. . If it snows it can be quite nice& cosy.. . but it can also be rainy & chilly with cold winds.. . so make sure to bring a good jacket & some warm cardigans.. .
