Sandals Royal Caribbean (18/Sept/05)

Hi all,

My wife and I are staying at the SRC from 18th Sept for 1 week. We have stayed only once before in a Sandals resort (The Royal Bahamian) and absolutely loved it. We are very much so looking forward to staying at the SRC.

Can anyone give us any ideas of what to do while staying at the SRC? Where we should eat in SRC or SMB? What tours we should do?

This is our first time in Jamaica and would like to visit both Ocho Rios and Negril, but we've heard that the tours going to Dunns River Falls from Montego Bay include alot of shopping, when we really only want to see the Falls and then spend the rest of the day in the Grande Ocho Rios before returning back to the SRC. We feel the same way about the Negril tour.. .. ..we really only want to see the Sandals in Negril, and don't particularly want a tour round that side of the island with hardly no time in the resort. Anyway if there is an easier way (that doesn't cost the earth) to do both these tours, we would be happy.

Cheers in advance for any help.

I know that there is a half day and a whole day for Dunn's falls. We've always taken the half day and that doesn't include the shopping, unless you see something on the way back from the falls. They have a lot of vendors set up as you're leaving. SMB has 3 nice restaurants, you'll need to make reservations asap when you arrive.

We do the Martha Brea river raft each year. It's a very relaxing ride and about 3 miles long.

When you're at SRC, tell Monica hi from Bill & Kathy and see her soon.
