I'm torn between 2 companies that offer similar itinerary, however, Insight includes Barcelona (costs $500.00 more) and Trafalgar doesn't.
Will I be missing out something if I take Trafalgar or it's just fine to skip Barcelona. Thanks for your input.

We took this tour w/ Trafalgar about 5 years ago. We enjoyed the tour and really had a great time in Spain. The tour of Spain concentrated on the southern side of the country and since we have not been back to Spain and Portugal since then, I wished we could have seen more of the northern side as well such as Barcelona. We heard it's a party city but have the same to offer as Madrid.

Insight is a step up from Trafalgar but owned by the same company. For $500 more, I'd take Insight for better hotels and also for an added tour of Barcelona.

I went to Barcelona on my own and I would recommend it. It has interesting buildings by Gudi. It's also close to France and lots of tasty bakeries in the city. The culture in Barcelona is different than southern Spain.
