Globus Meals

Used Globus in Italy. Supplied meals ranged from barely OK to awful. Hotel breakfasts were great except that Globus travelers sat elsewhere and did not get them. Instead Globus supplied a second, no make that third, rate substitute. Also, Globus did a poor job in dealing with restricted diet issues.

Hotels were second rate as well. However, considering savings they were mostly ok.

If you can afford better, you can do better than Globus. I dropped them a note and was told they would get back to me in 4 weeks!!!

Which tour did you go . .. .. ..and when? I was on the best of Italy tour this summer. All the breakfasts were fine.. .. ..buffets were plentiful. While the dinners at the hotels were not the most exciting, they were not terrible. The hotels were quite nice. (I'm curious as to which hotels you were at.) I would not hesitate to use Globus again.

I also had a very positive experience with Globus with regard to meals, and this was in Egypt. The best of the best, as far as I could tell.

My wife and I did the Thames to the Tiber Tour last summer and found the meals to be perfectly fine. Additionally, our hotels were conveniently located and ranged from good to Superior. We were both extremely pleased with Globus and plan to book additional tours through them. :D
