Globus v's Trafalgar v's Insight
Hi everyone
My husband and I are looking to take a coach tour of Europe next year. We have brochures from Globus, Trafalgar and Insight, is one company any better than the other? Any pitfalls to look out for when making our decision?
Thanks

I have taken both Globus and Trafalgar. Globus gets my vote.

I also have gone on both tours. I liked Trafalgar more, i guess because of the people and the tour director.

Globus

I Have taken 2 tours with Globus. First one was British Isle 2 years ago and I just got back from "Scenic Delights" 2 weeks ago. We had a wonderful time both tours. No complaints at all about Globus. They take care of everything. I would suggest that you plan for quite a bit of extra money as their optional trips are great and you will probably want to do most of them. The Globus Hotels are all either 1st class or superior 1st class.Another thing would be is try to pick a tour that stays at least 2 nights at every stop.Otherwise it really is very tiring. You also might want to look ionto the Globus Europeon River cruises. The idea of only unpacking one time really appeals to me.Anyway Globus is great and the whole thing is to pick the right tour for you. They have many to offer.

: i have taken 4 trips with insight and all were excellent. great tour guides and drivers excellent hotels and many side trips included that you would pay extra for with other companys.highly reccomend insight.

Ditto Nightcapper. Also, The legroom on the Insight Bus vs the others is fantastic. Insight maxes out at 38 people and removes the rest of the seats for extra legroom. Insight is a subsidiary of Trafalger and is considered by Trafalger as their premier tour which is why they keep the name Insight. My pet pieve with the others is that they nickel and dime you for everthing, whereas Insight has a lot more inclusives ie you go to the Coliseum but if you want a tour inside you have to pay extra whereas it is included with Insight.

Insight is a very excellent tour operator however thier clientel seems to be on the blue hair side, Trafalgar is younger and has a range of ages so I had a lot more in common with the Trafalgar group.

HI! We are thinking of taking the British Isle tour this September. We
are wondering if it makes sense to take Trafalger, Cosmos or Globus.
Would you go with Globus again?

Hi
I used to be Casey but somehow had to get new password.

I would definitely go with Globus again. I am already planning a trip to Italy with Globus for Sept 2007.
