I will be on Trafalgar Tours' London, Paris & Rome tour this August (11-21). .. .. . I've researched and read many reviews about the various hotels on this tour.. .. . So far, I've read good reviews on the Gresham Hyde Park in London, fair reviews on the Ibis Alesia Montparnasse in Paris, and mixed but often negative reviews on the Ergife Palace in Rome.. .. . Any further info on these hotels would be greatly appreciated.. .. .

On another issue, I would like to know what ferry company Trafalgar works with to transport us from Dover to Calais.. ..Ive speculated SeaFrance but I'm not sure if that one is the one.. .. ..Also, I and two others will be travelling on non-US passports with valid Schengen visas (visa that allows entry into 15 European member countries). .. ..What do I need to know about the border patrol and customs there? Will there also be immigration and passport control at Dover and Calais???
