My family and I are taking the August 6th tour. Any suggestions for places to eat? Also, is there enough time, when in Montecatini, to go to the thermal pools? Thanks for any helpful information.

I went on The Best of Italy tour this summer and I'd be very happy to answer any questions you have. Your tour director will offer lots of suggestions as to where to eat. You will also be offered several optionals which include dinner. I took all the optionals and enjoyed them thoroughly. (Don't miss the optional dinner on the farm.) The food in Italy is outstanding!!! (but expensive). .

As for expereincing the thermal baths, there is really not a lot of "free time", although you may be able to fit it in the afternoon you arrive in Montecatini. (You will spend the entire next day in Florence.)
