We just returned from a tour of Southern Italy and Sicily with Insight Tours. It was beautiful and very interesting. Our guide and driver were very good. However, one of the hotels we stayed in was awful. It smelled very bad and the mildew was oozing out of the shower head in the bathroom. We asked to be moved and they said there weren't any more rooms available. The hotel was KAOS in Agrigento. Insight should not use this hotel again. We asked the manager to come to our room and see how bad it was, and he sent a young girl who was in training. We were not treated very well at all. The grounds of the hotel looked nice but the rooms were unacceptable. It was the worst place we have ever been to.

Thanks for the good and bad review. My friend and I are planning to do this one in September 2006. The good thing is that they must have listened to your advice because that hotel is not listed this year, thank God for that!
