Bringing liquor on board a Norwegian Cruise Liner

Bringing liquor on board a Norwegian Cruise Liner

We have booked a cruise with a balcony and were looking forward to having a cocktail every night there but now learn you may not bring a bottle on board to consume in your room. Is this correct? How to get around this? Why go on this cruise? Any ideas?

I was on this Norwegian last year.. . and i did hear that if you get caught bringing on board liquor . .. . they will confinscate it.. .. . So we didn't bring any on board.. . however.. . when we got to Miami.. .. . we went to a liquor store and purchased liquor and brought it back on board.. . they didn't say a word.. .. . so we did have our own liquor from miami on.. .. .. . : )

I have to comment on the prices on their liquor aboard the ship.. . for wine, mixed drinks, beer even.. . their prices aboard this ship.. . ( as i'm sure all cruise ships are ) are outragious!!! They even charge you for a bottle of Evian they keep in your room.. . if you open it.. . you pay for it.. . its as simple as that!!!
