Hi we are going to Hedo 3 in mid August and would be interested in some tips on what to take and what not to take with us

August will be very warm, plan to dress as light as possible (even lighter with no swim suits!). . For men, t-/hawaiian/polo shirt with shorts is the norm for evenings, the ladies sometime dress up a bit more - "club wear", that they wouldn't normally wear out at home.. .. . Bring outfits/accessories for PJ & Toga nights.

Don't forget the basics - suntan lotion in various spf's, toiletries, aloe lotion, etc. Sunglasses, hats, cover-ups. A large, insulated mug for your favorite drink (can hold a lot more than the plastic cups there). . Favorite CD for the CD player in the room.

Most of all, take a great attitude & you'll have a blast.
