| I noticed that my Royal Carribean boat has a rock climbing wall. Has anyone used these before? Do they charge? Do you need to bring your own shoes? How difficult do the routes get? Do they offer classes? Is it usually crowded? Thanks. |

The climbing is free. Sign up on the hour and sign up early.
No climbing in windy weather. Not open all the time.
Bring your shoes and gloves. |

We were on Mariner of the Sea's last Sept. The rock climbing experience was awesome. I was sorry I waited til day 6 to do it. Everyday you will get a flyer in your cabin with all the days activities listed. Rock climbing will be available several times a day. Lots of people try it so go early and be prepared to wait your turn. You sign a waiver and then the staff will give you shoes and a harness. You have a choice of 4 levels of skill. Don't worry if you can't do it. Everyone is positive and rooting for each other. Also, every age from 18 to 80. You can do it and get back in line and do it again. |
