| My husband and I went to Aventura Palace during the first week of Spa Palace opening, and the resorts are basically together. The room was nice I thought, and service very good. The food was fine, not exceptional like some all-inclusive we have been to, but you won't starve. It was a nice trip overall, very nice pool, and beach enclosed with "rock" wall, kept water calm. Husband had good scuba, extra cost. It was nice overall, no complaints at all. We took the included tours, very nice. |

| My husband and I stayed at Moon Palace and loved it. We did visit some other Palace Resorts, and they weren't as nice as Moon Palace. If you want to be in the thick of things, Moon Palace is not for you. It is very secluded and private. |

I know this is too late for the person originally inquiring, but just in case anyone else wants to know...
My husband and I stayed at Adventura Palace for our honeymoon while Spa Palace was still under construction. We loved it - we actually liked it better than Moon Palace, it was a little more relaxing and not as huge/crowded. Another place we have since stayed and loved was Riu Palace Mexico (although I did miss the Jacuzzi in the room that we had at Adventura). |

Does anyone know what happens if you have booked a trip through Apple Vacations at a resort that has closed before you go? Cannot get a response from our travel agent -- just that they will get back to us.
Thanks. |

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Adventura Spa Palace last August and it is wonderful. It was honestly, the most romantic resort we had ever gone too. We actually just booked our wedding there today!!!! So, we'll be back in July to have our wedding on the beach.
If you are looking for a romantic gettaway, with no kids, at a beautiful place that waits on you hand and foot....go here. You'll love it.
I do recommend that you ask your doctor about the "shot" you can get for when you vacation in Mexico though. Even though I avoided the water, the restaurants still wash their salads and fruits down with the local water. I was a little sick during the week, but that can happen anywhere in Mexico. Good luck! |
